The key to active environmental protection while reducing operating costs is energy efficiency. For this we rely on highly effective activated carbon and natural table salt for a minimum consumption of disinfectants as well as on innovative control computers and the latest swimming pool technology. The course for energy-efficient and economical operation is already set during the planning phase.

Perfectly Coordinated Technology

  • 1: Ospa BlueControl®
    The heart of efficient energy saving in the swimming pool is the intelligent control for automating the processes in the system. The communication of the components is guaranteed via the Ospa swimming pool bus and, if necessary, the building control system.
  • 2: Water attraction control via BlueControl®
    Expensive performance peaks are reduced by the BlueControl®-controlled program sequence and the mutual locking of attractions.
  • 3: Lowering of the water level
    In order to avoid heat loss via the channel, the water level in outdoor pools with an overflow channel is lowered during the night.
  • 4: Drainage of outdoor hot tubs
    In order to enable economical operation, the water from the whirlpool is drained into a thermally insulated storage tank at night.
  • 5: Cover
    Ospa swimming pool covers have been ensuring maximum energy savings for decades.
  • 6: ED Lightning
    The use of LED instead of halogen headlights can save considerable energy. Our resources are also saved thanks to the longer service life of LED diodes.
  • 7: Pool hydraulics
    By installing several inlet nozzles, the pool hydraulics are improved from an energetic point of view. This causes a reduction in the inlet resistance
  • 8: Frequency-controlled circulation and attraction pumps
    Ospa circulation pumps are particularly energy-efficient and have a very high level of efficiency. Further savings can be made by using frequency converters for speed and power control.
  • 9: Highly insulated pools
    Heat loss is effectively prevented by a heat-insulating layer made of Styrodur.
  • 10: Bathwater Heater
    High efficiency plate heat exchangers for solar and low temperature heating with low heat loss are energy saving. The heater can also be operated in bypass.
  • 11: Injector
    A small motive water pump with reduced motive water flow and/or an injector.
  • 12: Water-Tank
    Hydraulically optimal installation and energy-related adjustment of the water tank. Ospa water storage tanks are also thermally insulated.
  • 13: Circulation volume flow
    The volume flow must be adjusted via the frequency-controlled pump after the system has been fluidically optimized. This saves more energy.
  • 14: Piping
    By using bends instead of angles and a larger pipe cross-section, the system resistance can be effectively reduced, and thus considerable energy saved.
  • 15: Reversing valve
    Considerable energy savings and a significant reduction in contact resistance can be achieved with the optimized Ospa reversing valve.

The Core

The intelligent control Ospa-BlueControl® monitors and controls all swimming pool functions including attractions and water value monitoring: unbeatably efficient. For optimal networking of all energy consumers, Ospa BlueControl® can also be connected to all common bus systems in residential buildings.

An intelligent control system combined with the latest swimming pool technology trimmed for efficiency is our recipe for success.
